On November 27, 2004, Frank P. Nigro III lost his battle with
glioblastoma multiforme, an aggressive brain tumor. He is
survived by his wife, Donna and his son, Bryan. Each year,
more than 20,000 people are diagnosed with brain tumors.
We know, first hand, the pain and suffering that brain tumors
cause patients and their families and want to do our part to
save others from having to endure a similar tragedy.
Frank’s passion for golf inspired us to hold a tournament in
celebration of his life. It is our hope that this tournament will
be an opportunity for everyone to have fun in Frank’s
memory while helping to raise money to support brain tumor
research and patient care. All proceeds of the tournament go
directly to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the
Jimmy Fund. We have an exciting event planned and hope
that you will be able to join us whether you participate as a
golfer, a sponsor or a volunteer.
